Bring in Bendtner and Diaby or Ramsey for Sunday and we have variation

A FEW thoughts:

Hull’s performance last night…
Was the kind of performance I thought northern sides reserved only for us. Credit to Phil Brown (who I warmed slightly towards when he admitted their penalty at the Emirates was a joke) for putting out a side who gave everything and were outstanding for 90 minutes.

It was hard not to contrast their running with the lack of it we saw at times on Sunday.

The statistics certainly show we’ve been wretched against the top two this season…

But Arsene and the team do deserve some credit for their record against “the rest”. Based solely on games against “the rest”, we would be level on points with Chelsea but with a game in hand and two points ahead of United.

At least we’re not sitting here bemoaning all the points we’ve dropped to the dross.

Before Chelsea drew with Hull I’d have taken a draw on Sunday…
It’s certainly true eight points would have been a lot to make up. But look at the remaining fixtures and you see that while we have Man City and Spurs to come after the Liverpool game, they will still have to go to Old Trafford, Anfield and White Hart Lane and entertain City and Villa. We need to be in touch, not on top.

As for Sunday…

I think the team should really pick itself. Diaby or if not Ramsey in for Denilson (who I really hope was watching Stephen Hunt of Hull last night) and Bendtner in for Nasri with Arshavin dropping back. Suddenly, from being a team that is one paced and very samey in some areas, we would have height up front, players who contrast rather than replicate each other on the wings and if not power in midfield (Diaby), then at least energy (Ramsey).

With Theo on the bench we’d have pace to call on too. Another realistic option is to bring Comrade Eboue in for Nasri to make us a little tighter.

And finally…
Transfers. I don’t really talk about them much on here but I will say that we couldn’t find another goalkeeper somewhere in the world to come in for the rest of the season, is a big disappointment. I’d also hoped that somewhere there would be a striker who could have a Kanu/Adebayoresque late season impact. Sometimes I wonder if Arsene is a little too much of a perfectionist when it comes to transfers. Maybe the Harry Redknapp way is worth a try, if only occasionally.

  1. Good article mate,

Any chance you change the background colour

  3. ramsey? are you crazy or blind?

you want the peice of shit keep passing the ball to lampard and anelka?

expect a drubbing if this bastard is playing… anyone will do except this peice of shit… when he play, arsenal midfield is non existent… everyone have to drag back to cover this asshole horrible passing to opponents

for god sake, this piece of arsene lover boy and true gonner version of fabregas@fuckdgrass is the best player on earth when it comes to helping opponents to win the ball in the middle of the park… his consistency in this area should be recorded in the the guiness book of lousy record(british version)

nice article though i hope you will change the background colour (:

  7. Good article. Finally someone is pointing out the tricky run-in that Chelsea have compared to us. The Mancs have an equally tough one. Last Sundays performance aside, they have looked vulnerable at times this season. I still think we are in with a shout even if we lose on Sunday.

Agree on team for Sunday. I hope Bentner and Arshavin are working hard together this week.

    Come on………..

Also agree with Dave about the colour – sorry!

Bendtner and Diaby MUST play on Sunday. If both play I think we can win it. If Denilson plays we have no chance.

  13. so many nuts who can’t accept the fact that arsene is flying private jet for the worng reason… and the fact arsene youth shit policy is not working… nuts is someone who keep doing the same thing but expecting a different results… that sounds a lot like arsene wenger… and some daydreaming by arsenal no ball fans… and those who still think that ramsey shit is of any useful value to the team… but i’ve to admit he is good at passing the balls back to the opponets for counter attack that resulting in goal… so be prepared to celebrate with drogba when he did so this sunday

  14. ramshit on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 10:38 am
  15. Disagree totally about Ramsey. Yes, his passes sometimes go astray (but then so do Cescs frankly) but he has a positive impact in midfield. He has pace, strength, energy, a good eye for a shot and total commitment. I think he will be an Arsenal great. His running off the ball is intelligent. Maybe this is not seen on TV.

Watch him live and give him a chance. He has had a couple of poor(ish) games admittedly but I shall be happy to see him in the starting line up on Sunday.

  16. oldbird on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 10:40 am
  17. Arsene needs to drop Almunia, Denilson and Nasri first. Then he has to produce an organised defense. We can’t simply pretend Sunday didn’t happen or was a one-off.

So, if I understand you correctly, basically we are counting on Abou having a proper 90+ minute defensive shift and Super Nic putting the fear of god into Terry and Cech upfront. Hmmmm. It’s just as well supporting your team is an irrational passion.

  19. one brilliant moment out of 10 games or so? even bobby zamora is better than this… this sounds more like david nugent in front of the goal… hopeless, toothless and useless

at the ever yleast, boby zamora or david nugent does not keep passing the ball back to opponents

even when he has a brilliant moment, his trademark passing the ball back to the opponents is motherfucking horribly consistent… playing him means mounting pressure to the defenders and midfielders

ramsey is always a liability more than an asset when he is playing…. so flying private jet to capture him is absolutely nuts

Great grammar please leave the comments to people that can actually make sense and write a little.

  22. matt on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 10:53 am
  23. Agree with all your observations, GP. Especially the Eboue one – he would offer a lot more defensively than Nasri or Rosicky. The problem is he’s right-sided so Clichy still remains exposed as in the previous two games – Arshavin will never track back that far and Denilson hasn’t the desire to either. As said above we are laying all our hopes on a super shift from Diaby!

  24. Carlos on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 10:54 am
  25. Poor, poor comment from you ramshit.Your Ramsey criticism shows you have not taken time to assess the player well and only recorded his errors. At his age(18/19), Lampard was non-existent and an unknown quantity(no offence to Lampard as he is one of the few England players I rate) who wasnt playing at the top level. Its easy to see that if the young man continues to play the way he is and developing his game, he is surely goingto be a legend when he is 25 or 27.Already, Ramsey is the centre of his national team, hardly an average player. Then if you dont mind my saying so, I sense an anger towards not just Ramsey but the whole team over the United loss.Pls forgive them painful as it may be. On the way to wining their third straight title last season, United lost 2-4 to Liverpool.Mnay said the end had come for SAF all the usual rush of blood… but United turned the seaon around and still won the title;keep the faith!

  29. No mate -We should start out with the aim of not conceding and anything we get is a bonus? The first thing we need to do is get the defence right and compete and fight.- give them no time in midfield. Just look at our appalling recent record against this lot and Man U caused by naive attacking. I think we have nothing to lose by fielding Campbell at the back, alongside Gallas, Vermaelen in front with Song. Eboue in front of Sagna, and Arshavin in front of the dodgy Clichy. Bendtner and Diaby playing off him to start and Fabregas. If we do as you say- they will sit back and hit us for 6 on the break- it is us who needs to sit back and absorb them and hit them on the break at the end.

  37. If diaby is fit he should definitely play, and Id give us a good shot of winning with him in the side. Bendtner as well is a must if hes fit. Hes the only one capable of even giving their defence somthing to think about physically.
Wenger needs to get his tactics sorted, but no matter what, chelsea will cause us problems and we are going to need a bit of fortune on our side – but thats true of every game to a degree.

  38. Davi on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 11:18 am

  41. i don’t think diaby having a great game is such a reach. but he and bendtner have to play. am very weary of chelsea just overpowering us in the final 30mins of games. would also give fabianski a game as almunia’s confidence looks shot. very disappointed we didn’t sign a striker last month – so what if we pick chamakh up for nothing in the summer if cesc & arshavin leave?

  42. more belgians please! on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 11:35 am
  43. The Chelsea result proves that it’s best to wait till the end of the season (or at least towards the end) to make predictions about who will win the title and who won’t. It’s been a crazy season so far and I think Liverpool, Man City, Villa, and Spurs will cause more crazy things to happen. Keep the faith.

About Denilson – I was someone who hadn’t written him off but in the last few games he has been poor, as bad as I can ever remember him playing. Maybe a couple of games on the bench will do him some good. (I wonder if he’s carrying a knock.)

My preferred front 3 for Sunday: Arsh, Bendtner, Eboue.

Midfield: Ramsey / Diaby for Denilson as Goodplaya said.

  51. I love our team but sometimes think we have some of the worst fans in the league.

We go top of the league and Arsene is a genius.

We have one draw and one loss and Arsene needs to be sacked. As do most of the players.

Chelsea draw and we’re back in the league again.

where is the patience? Or perspective?

  52. workingchris on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:03 pm
  53. Diaby and Denilson are both next to useless. They both stay away from 50-50 challenges and neither of them has any vision at all. Both get caught in possesion way too much and at best are middle of the table players. Ramsey, whilst being a little erratic at the moment (as he is only a boy) does offer more vision and could be an interesting prospect if playing alongside Cesc. Bendtner I’m afraid is all talk. Always goes on about wanting to be one of the world’s best – it’s a shame his touch isn’t as good as his chat. Came on against Utd and was rubbish. Sure he’s not match fit, but then he’s not all that good when he is fit. We’ll be in big trouble if we defend in the same way we did against Utd. Please no one mention Eboue again – he’s the worst player in the first team

  54. lip on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:05 pm

  56. crook on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:07 pm
  57. lip – thats complete crap about diaby.
The criticism that he gets caught on the ball too much is pretty valid, but apart from that…
Have you seen him recently? I cant wait for him to come back next to song. It’ll look more like the invincibles midfield.
I think you’re wrong about denilson as well but he is inconsistent and hasnt quite reached his potential yet.
Bendtner is good but inconsistent and eboue has been awesome in the majority of his performances this season..

  58. Davi on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:26 pm
  59. song-diaby-cesc is a very strong midfield. hope they have a good day.
i expect eduardo will start on sunday — not bendtner. eduardo hasn’t been great, but offers something different, as you’re saying.
on who plays along arshavin and eduardo: rosicky or nasri would be fine, but eboue would help defending against ashley cole.

  60. bernardinho on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:31 pm
  61. You must be watching different games to me Davi! I’ve been to almost all home games this season and those players are all fair weather players. I don’t see what other people see in Diaby. He doesn’t have full control over those gangly legs of his! Before his break he was showing promise but since he came back from that injury he hasn’t been the same. What exactly does he offer? He’s useless in the air (like most arsenal players apart from Vermalen and Gallas) is not a great passer of the ball, not a great tackler and has no end product to his runs. I think Song is great but to compare the current midfield to the invincibles?? Way off the mark. I wish we had a honest player like Parlour back in the side who has a bit of heart. It’s not just me who has the same opinion about Denilson – the amount of people in the crowd and around the stadium who were talking about him and saying he’s not good enough for the team was ridiculous.

The same goes for Eduardo in terms of coming back from injury – completly ineffectual since returning. He has no pace so has to rely on his finishing ability and that seems to have deserted him.

I really don’t want to talk about Eboue! You won’t find anyone else who mentions his name and the word awesome in the same sentance unless you’re talking about his diving!

  62. lip on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 12:42 pm

    Bendtner
subs-Rosicky to replace sol,Ramsy to replace Arshavin, Eduardo for Bendtner-80min

  70. MUINDE A.K on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 3:19 pm
  71. We’ve got a hell of a chance 2 blow the title race wide open just as long as the 2 worst players in league (clichy and denilson) don’t play or we’ll get battered

  72. MickTheGunner on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 3:20 pm
  73. We need to have both Gallas and Sol playing to contain Drogba’s physique and height and as well limit Ashley cole’s movememt on the left while shutting out Lampard/Joe cole/Malouda in the middle and having cesc/arshavin behind Bendtner to harass the chelsea defence with all sorts of attacking options available.Sol can play for 75+mins before being sent to the bench to rest and then introduce Ramsy and Rosicky with strict instructions to cover our midfield and snuff out any attacks from the middle .By this our counter attacking style will flourish with this fresh pair of players available. What do you think?

  74. MUINDE A.K on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 3:31 pm
  75. I agree with your last statement of finding an other goal keeper bcz Almunia is not No 1 for Arsenal which is having full same midfilders who can not defend!Remember Pieenard’s goal,Rooney’sand Park’s!!
Frankly it is hard to win at Stamford bridge with ehe players like Denilson,Thomas7,Nasri,Theo even Aluminia!
let us fight fo the 3rd place like he said Ancelotti!
    My heart is broken!!!!!!

  77. lip – stop using others’ opinions to form your argument. It’s meaningless.
So you didnt notice the change in diaby over his last 10 games? where he WAS putting his foot in.
To say the guy cant pass really shows your ignorance as well.
He is practically a no.10, the reason he was so poor before is that he was often playing on the left but more importantly didnt appear to have the stomach for it and would drift in and out of games. Now he has. His technical ability (including his apssing ability) is without question.
You dont seem to be able to accept that these players have got better.
These young players tend to “click” when they figure out what they need to add to their game to be effective. We saw that almost instant change in song at some point last season, and this year diaby has followed.
You obviously didnt watch eboue before he lost his place to the oh-so-much-better walcott. He is the most effective dribbler we have in the side. He may not always deliver the final ball, but often enough he does, and even if he does eventually lose it, it creates a bit of chaos in the opposition defence and we can still benefit.
He was doing a great job in the early season games and lost his place for no good reason.

  78. Davi on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 4:42 pm

  80. Bobshinery on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 4:44 pm
  81. Do you think Ramsey slept with Ramshit’s girlfriend? he HATES that guy! agree with the comments, i’m tired of being caught on the break, everyone knows they can counter us because we commit 7 or 8 players to unlocking the opposition defence. Would love to see a tight back 8 with Song, Diaby, Eboue in midfield supporting our defence and just see is Fabregas, Arshavin and Bendtner can nick a cheeky goal. I want OTHER home teams to get frustrated that they can’t break US down for 80 minutes so they’re forced to make desperate subs and commit more players forward. then WE can hit THEM on the break. 0-1 to the Arsenal!!

  82. jaymejellyfish on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 4:49 pm
  83. And denilson can be good enough, hes shown it on occasion. Wenger has put too much trust in him currently, like walcott, and they have shown that they are not ready for such responsibility yet, although potentially both are good players. I dont care what anyone else says.
Eduardo has been extremely important in recent games. His finishing is off, but everything else is excellent. People expect miracles, but he still makes chances for himself and others. In the coming months I expect him to return to his full form, which will be devastating.
Just think, in the short time he was in the side, he carved himself at least 1 chance each game that you really expected him to finish based on his past results. Im sure that will return cos everything else appears to have. He’s an incredibly intelligent footballer and perfect for a team that includes cesc, rvp, rosicky and arshavin.

  84. Davi on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 4:50 pm
  85. “17 Premier League goalkeepers have been credited with more saves than Manuel Almunia in the Premier League this season. Four of those goalkeepers have played fewer games than the Spaniard. ”

I think Wenger likes the idea of winning with a rubbish keeper… as if it adds ART to the victory somehow.

  91. “28.Why is it at all possible for bottom of the table sides like Hull and Burnley to contain Chelsea but we can’t…”

Because they work harder at closing down space and tracking back when possession is lost than we do. It’s not rocket science.

  92. Old Git on Wednesday, 03 February 2010 at 6:19 pm
  93. yes, Old Git, spot on…. but if you field a maturing kid who is supposed to play in division one team, don’t expect such a thing

and then he will instruct all his teammates to go back an defend while he is lazing around in the middle of park

  108. SouthPaw on Thursday, 04 February 2010 at 12:48 am
  109. @54: Please do not renew your season ticket. Leave it to those who understand that some players may not be of the desired level and will likely be replaced in the summer but who are capable meanwhile of supporting the entire team as they are about to play the most decisive game of the season so far. You can’t constantly create an atmosphere of negativity and whine when the team mirrors it.

I really hope Almunia will have the game of his life against Chelski. He may have become inconsistent and fearful but he is fully capable of superb performances. We need him to perform at his best. Go Manuel! Go Gunners!

  113. Diaby for Denilson for sure. Bendttner for some presence up front – at the expense of either nasri or rosicky. arshavin goes wide left. clichy will probably keep his place – but is very lucky gibbs is injured. traore is not string enough. i would play silvestre instead of traore. fabianski seems to self destruct – so almunia may keep his spot. fabianski is more talented, but decision-making needs to improve. massive improvement needed across the board.

  115. RAMSHIT WANTS TO SEE WINNERS – WHO CAN BLAME HIM. WE FEAR CHELSEA – THAT’S A FACT…THEIR PLAYERS ARE MORE EXPERIENCED & HAVE WON SOME SILVERWARE IN THE LAST FIVE SEASONS. IF WE WIN IT WILL BE GOOD FOR THE TEAM BUT AW MADE A HUGE MISTAKE NOT BUYING A STRIKER & TRUSTING THAT USELESS – {QPR QUALITY , BENDTNER}. THIS IS A PEICE OF SHIT, WHO’LL NEVER BE THE LEAGUES TOP SCORER. EDUARDO SHOULD BE SHIPPED BACK TO THE AMAZON TO REGAIN HIS FORM. – THESE TWO CLOWNS ARE NOT ARSENAL QUALITY COMPARED TO HENRY & BERGKAMP!!!!! – GOOD LUCK TO THE GUNZ WE GONNA NEED IT!!!

  117. i dont understand what people have against ramsey. he was on fire before he got injured. wenger praised him (rare thing for wenger to do). not to mention the praise he got whilst on international duty (he was tuted to be the best from one of the best remember?). also sir alex fuckerson wanted him before he signed for arsenal….. he is a rare talent that is just coming good if you disagree then obviously you havnt been watching the games…. in other words go back to where ever you came from and support a team in your national league.

  118. luke on Thursday, 04 February 2010 at 9:10 am
  119. GUN, AW willingly fly private jet to get a maturing division one footballer so he can consistently passing the ball to opponents… that show you how serious AW about winning the title…. but he act like the title is already in the bag(or perhaps he know his kids has no chance this season, so why waste the money) by refusing to get a striker in the absence of rvp… no one available? yeah right!

even the place no one want to go, hull can capture amir zaki, a proven premierleague goalscorer

  120. ramshit on Thursday, 04 February 2010 at 9:21 am
  121. alex fuckerson won’t shed a tear not getting that piece of shit… perhaps it’s a clever trick to trap AW into buying a piece of shit

best of the best? couldn’t agreed more if you meant passing the ball back to opponents

if you guys unhappy with his alternative job, a traffic controller, how about being a gigolo? he surely can serve true gooner(the gay boy) by passing his balls into his mouth

  123. man first off your english is appalling… second im going from quotes here are you? im not claiming that i agree with wengers way right now (yes a believe we should of spent a few quid) but i do believe this boys got talent and i do believe your going to be one of those “fans” who are praising him as soon as he becomes what he will become.

  124. luke on Thursday, 04 February 2010 at 9:46 am
  125. and on a further note chelsea will be in a shit heap as soon as that russian fuck stops caring about them (or goes to jail) and united and liverpool are already there (there debt is something you cant just recover from)..,. stop fucking complaining the future is ours and the seasons not over. yes a loan deal for a striker would of been brilliant.. a lot less injuries would have been even better… as for almunia he will be replaced by one of the younger ones next year… clichy doesnt deserve the critisism (yes he was shit the other day) but he has only just come back from long term injury. denilson is tough situation because he does have talent and when in form is an underated player (by the fans) but he has just came back from injury aswell… i believe he will lose his place next year but if he is sold he will be one those players we wish we didnt 3 or 4 years later… i would much rather him on the bench for us then playing well for someone else.

  132. Davi (39)

You are spot on re Diaby. Right from the very beginning he has been one of those players who looks, on occasion, as if he could turn into a world class player. In the next game he has seemed uninterested and sometime plain old useless. But this season he has been very good. Defensively he wins lots of headers. He fullfills the gilberto role of clearing the majoirty of dead balls. He has been covering back with a lot more urgency than (a not fully fit or injured) Denilson has done in the past few games. Having said that we had many players on Sunday who seemed to think tracking back was beneath them. In modern football tracking back and covering the oppositions runs is almost the most important thing after technique. Without it a team cannot keep cleansheets as we saw on Sunday.

Back to Diaby tho. In contrast to some other comment that was made about him having no control over his long legs I have to disagree. His close control and very quick feet are one of his greatest assests.

And as far as Eboue goes…. yes, his powder puff antics and diving are very very frustrating and I would go as far as to say extremely embarrassing. But, there is not a player in the whole squad who can beat a man with explosive pace the way that he can. Sure Walcott and Vela might be quicker over the first 10 metres but neither beats there man as often as Eboue. Added to that he knows how to defend unlike Walcott and Vela.

I for one would not be unhappy to see him in the front 3 on Sunday. We need to tighten up all over the pitch and he can help us do that in a way that Nasri and Rosicky just didn’t do on sunday. Shame about his finishing.

I suppose Arsene believed his young players were going to mature quick enough to be able to win the league this season. I think he must now realise that he has been hoping for too much even tho there is still an outisde chance. I fully expect him to spend some money in the summer on a new striker, another centre back (bye bye sol and sylvestre) and of course a keeper (is the younger pole at Brentford surely not our best long term bet? he is already in the Polish squad as number two and the Poles have a number of deceent keepers to pick from as well as a fine heritgae in nurturing keepers)

  154. Jack king, nice one, “a few good games”? How many? 1 out of 10 games? Is that a standard set by assanal club or by the British football?

I think David Nugent is better than that. Why not you setup a website to sing praise about david nugent once in a while goal scoring?

An asshole like ramsey who cause us many games and help us to win one is like a piece of shit unless you’re a lower division team

Perhaps that is good for Cardiff or Assanal club(chairgay true gooner), not for Arsenal

Please stop saying he is young, maturing and all kind of shit… if that is the case, he is not ready for Arsenal… loan him elsewhere or autcion him off in ebay with a starting price of for £1

To be honest, I’ve never seen a peice of shit in the entire EPL who is so consistent in passing the ball back to the oppoents… count it yourself the next time he is playing

And has a good laugh when he become a traffic controller in the middle of the park when the opponent is attacking… he did that many times in aston villa game… more timtes than his “a few good games” as per jack king

Shit is shit no matter how you try to argue, unless you are an assanal fans, you will never approve this peice of shit in the team

  160. One of the great things about this blog is that there is usually a very well informed and good discussion here. We should try to keep it that way.
Insulting a player who has not even taken part in the ManU game does not bring loads of insights, but then preventing ramshit from spazzing out seems to be beyond the realm of possibility — and anyway, his bit of madness brings some fun to this blog. But i believe we should try to avoid letting the ramshit-led discussion dominate this comments section.

  168. Bergy, you are right, English is not my first language, football is my first language…

Deep down arsene knew he is making the wrong decision, he is now trying to cover his pride

Having been wasting monies with a private jet to capture that piece of shit, you won’t expect him to admit it publicly

Arsene is renowned for his stupidity… remember pascal cygan? it’s not working and it’s so obvious even to the blind… but it took so bloody long for arsene to get rid of the liability

So do not expect arsene to get rid this piece of shit after spending huge monies… arsene personal pride is at stake… his personal pride is always more important than anything else… including the club, the fan and the silverware

  170. I’M SORRY BUT ARSENE NEEDS DEFENSIVE COACHING HELP –

See.. you take the Corporate world…Great Entrepreneurs are NOT ALWAYS GREAT ADMINSTRATORS…thats why small innovative companies when they become larger sometimes collapse – and thats due to Poor adminstration and control of a large firm…

SAME HERE….NO DISRESPECT TO HIS ATTACKING FOOTBALL PHILOSOPHY (which also needs a bit of sharpening – cos we dont score much against Utd/Chelsea) BUT HE JUST DOESNT SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO TEACH THIS TEAM TO DEFEND…

OK YOU MIGHT ASK HOW HE WON TITLES BEFORE – thats cos he INHERITED a set of Defenders who were ALREADY MASTERS OF THEIR ART, A TEAM THAT HAD THEIR BASICS OF DEFENDING ENGRAVED IN THEM AND IN THEIR MINDSETS – AND THAT RUBBED OFF ON HIS NEW (DEFENSIVE SIGNINGS) – Campbell, Toure, Cole probably got groomed better with the likes of Adams, Keown, winterburn etc etc…

SO WHAT SHOULD ARSENE HAVE DONE – I think he should have retained maybe Adams, winterburn, dixon to groom the younger guys in defending…OR MAY BE HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE UNTHINKABLE – GOT GEORGE GRAHAM FOR A COUPLE OF SEASONS AND GET THE DEFENDING SORTED !!!

AND THEN THE NEXT BIG BIG POINT….

I FEARED THE LOSS OF FLAMINI WILL HAVE AN EFFECT ON THIS TEAM….

BUT I NEVER KNEW HE WOULD BE SUCH A BIG LOSS….

Yes SONG has improved and will and should be that player in the CDM role for the future…

BUT FLAMINI (THE ARSENAL VERSION) WAS a different CLASS ! And SONG Not yet there…

    ……….

Most of my family never followed football…pessimistic people who always tend to see the negative side of things…

Introduced Arsenal to them….the style of football, the philosophies…and bla bla…

But guess I shouldnt have…cos every time during our Big moments over the past few seasons – where we screw up – these people are right at my faces…I’ve defended and defended…made that excuse…this excuse…

BUT I’M TIRED…CANT SEEM TO DO IT ANY MORE !!!

  171. a gunner on Sunday, 07 February 2010 at 8:04 pm
  172. NOW – i know Our stupid Arsenal fans…I’ll recieve a barrage for saying the following….

    But I’ll still say it…

should Wenger have done the UNTHINKABLE and Got George Graham in for this season and sort the defending part ???????????????

I MEAN THIS IS SERIOUS….YOU CANT ALWAYS RELY ON YOUR CREATIVE PLAYERS TO ALWAYS SCORE…

SO WHEN YOU DONT IN TIGHT GAMES LIKE THIS….YOU SHOULDNT CONCEDE WITH STUPID DEFENSIVE MISTAKES…

AND GEORGE GRAHAM….A MASTER OF THIS…WHEN YOU DONT SCORE YOU HARDLY CONCEDE….

I THINK THERES SOME BADLY NEEDED EXPERTISE IN THE DEFENSIVE AREA…

AND ARSENE IS PISS POOR AT IT….

Yes He won titles…BUT THATS COS THE DEFENCE took care of it self and I AM FUCKING SURE ARSENE Never dared to touch that area….

YES He can be a genius in attacking football….

BUT IN FOOTBALL THE RULES DONT SAY ONLY ARSENAL CAN ATTEMPT TO SCORE GOALS….AND ITS FORBIDDEN FOR THE OPPOSITION TO TROUBLE OUR DEFENDERS !!!

  173. a gunner on Sunday, 07 February 2010 at 8:17 pm
  174. Defensively we are a joke. Clichy was fucking awful and both he and Sagna cant cross to save their lives. Bendtner did well when he came on but why the fuck was he not on from the start. And sweet jesus why wont anyone take the fucking shot!!!!! How many passes in front of goal did we have. Could someone please explain to me. Do we have a shot phobia? Fuck me sometimes it hurts to be a woman but not as much as to be an Arsenal fan. I’m off to drink another whiskey.

  176. If ramshit’s comments had any value, there wouldn’t be a problem. If he was to question wenger’s neglect of domestic cups,or falure to sign a top class keeper,or some muscle and power added to our teameven like what paul says about clich and bak being useless at crossing, and why the fuck we dont have a shot. Instead all he goes on about is ramsey, when the kids been class when called upon, yes a couple of passes have gone astray, but what about man of the match performances in most games he’s played in. At least he has a shot. Its all a bit weird from ramshit. But you’re right everyone has the right to their opinion, even if its crap or just a wind up. But if every player was as dedicated as ramshit at chelsea today wed of lost 120-0 coz all the players would of been raping aaron ramsey in the showers. DROGBA IS OUR FREDDY KRUEGER,nightmares are real

  178. that is the problem with you guys and arsene wenger… you never get it… why?

it’s interesting when andy gray said there must be something wrong with the team for repeated failure over the years

the answer is simple andy, when you take a private jet to capture a piece of shit, but you refuse to do anything to your attacking crisis, you are either doomed or you know nothing about football… that tell a lot about arsene wenger, he will go all out to get a piece of shit(for the future eh?)… THE FUTURE IS HERE ARSENE, stop daydreaming about your future arsene, you are no leonger any good for flushing the fans dream down the toilet bowl, year after year…. your youth policy suck, admit it!

and true gooner, pity fans like you for trying to defend a piece of shit… ramsey will be the next(sorry, not fabrages, not fuckdgrass) pascal cygan… a liability to to the team and a TRADEMARK FAILURE to the arsene wenger regime

do you hear what ancellotti said last friday? arsene can be defeated with a counter attack… and his team shown it with masterclass… so with the piece of shit consistency in passing the ball to the opponents, we are doomed everytime he starts the game

wake up you true gooner alike fans, stop licking balls

that is how big arsene ambition to you, pretty obvious… silverware is not the first priority for arsene… making profit is his only task… he act like a ceo rather than manager… that is why he fly private jet to capture a piece of shit… so he can look like one big important figure arsenal can do without

times up arsene… you should become the ceo of assanal(chairgay true gooner)… and make sure you rbing your peice of shit with you… he is not only an excess baggage, he is a huge liability, your trademark failure

What’s with the late involvement of Nicklas Bendner everytime? The player’s a little slow to catch up but when he does he tends to do a good job. Arshavin needs to be brought back a bit and Bendtner given a full 45 mins if we’re to start scoring again! As far as our defence is concerned, I’m speechless!! How many goals must we score upfront to make up for the immaturity of the below par defenders we have?!?!?!?!?
