since RvP got injured our weakest performer has always been one of the 3 front man (if not the keeper).
getting a keeper in the middle of the season, to be the no 1, does not look very sensible to me. a keeper needs time to settle in.
so a striker looks like the natural target to me.
moreover, from vieira to vermaelen, one can’t argue: in the transfer market, arsene knows. everyone makes mistakes, but he gets it right way more often than anyone else.

I think Almunia is playing as well as Cech is for Chelsea and Kusczack is for Utd. No-one in the league, bar Villa and Citeh, have a keeper playing at the top of their game.

Manuel has improved recently too, I think as the wins continue so will his confidence, and we will see the keeper that became dependant if not spectacular last season.
