Firey Arshavin gives Arsenal the win: report
I’M becoming quite a fan of audio blogging – a great way of saying quite a lot when you’re very pressed for time. It also allows you the viewer to have it on in the background while you move onto something else. Admittedly if you don’t and can’t have audio on your computer it’s not so good.
So with no further ado, here’s my report on Arsenal 2 Athletico 1:

Well as always arshavin never fails to dissapoint. What ive been wondering though is why dosent arsene make an offer for aguero havent we not got 40 million in the bank.

Yeah, to be fair that was one seriously deranged comment, born of beer and red wine, sorry. Although I do stand by the sentiment the delivery was quite retarded. tosin, well said man.

Yeah, although the audio reports are, uh, novel, I hope they aren’t going to be full substitutes for day-after-match entries. Wilshere was amazing yesterday and needs to be discussed more; these quickie audio reports can’t do justice to such stories.
By the way, can we sign Vieira and a semi-expensive (implying good) defender quickly, and then be done with it?

At least you did the second Arshavin goal justice. Having just seen the highlights it was an incredible finish as you quite rightly pointed out. I like the idea of the brief little soundbites.
You may have noticed this one but nonetheless, Arsene on selling the African duo to City: “If they are becoming a main rival I cannot stop it with a decision to sell a player or not. If they don’t buy from you they buy another good player from someone else”

nothing wrong with audio blogging tho i still prefer the written piece. not that the audio was bad or anything i just think that your written blogs are usually of such high standard and i really enjoy reading them be it at work/school/home with a cup of coffee. so i hope you won’t totally abandon the written pieces. cheers!

another good defender and midfield would be good. Shame Hleb won’t be back – he combines well with Rosicky and Fabregas and would be a good provider for Arshavin or RvP
